How to use it:–
Schedule a video meeting in the Google Calendar app
When you add a guest to an event, a video meeting link and dial-in number are added automatically. Alternatively, you can tap Add conferencing.
Note: Guests can forward the meeting link to other people. If someone tries to join who was not invited to the Calendar event, a meeting participant from your organization must accept their request.
- Open the Google Calendar app Calendar.
- Tap Add Event.
- Add guests from inside or outside your organization. Tap Done.
- Tap Save.
Start a meeting in the Meet app
- Open the Meet app Meet.
- Tap Add New meeting to start a meeting, or tap Input Meeting code and enter a meeting code or nickname, then tap Join Meeting.
How secure Google Meet is?
Meet recordings stored in Google Drive are encrypted at rest by default. Meet adheres to Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) security standards for Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) and Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP)
That being said, both Google Meet and Zoom have advantages and disadvantages against each other. You can certainly try them and see which one should be the best fit for your case.
