WhatsApp users are receiving an in-app notice from 4th January 2020 regarding the WhatsApp’s privacy policy and new terms
Users have until February 8 to accept these new terms, and WhatsApp has indicated that users may not be able to access their WhatsApp accounts if they do not accept whatsapp private policy (updated on January 4)
Fecebook bought the platform in 2014, since that it has gradually introduced different ways of accessing user data from whatsapp . After the recent changes in private policy it is showing somewhat its “take it or leave it “ attitude to the whatsapp users
The notice talks about three key updates that affect how WhatsApp processes your data, how businesses can use Facebook-hosted services to store and manage their WhatsApp chats, and how WhatsApp will soon partner with Facebook to offer deeper integrations across all of the latter’s products.
It further reveals that these changes will go into effect on February 8th, and users will have no choice but to accept these changes if they wish to continue using WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has already has sent ultimatum-like pop-up messages to users in some regions, including India, asking them to accept WhatsApp’s privacy policy or they will risk losing their accounts.
Rather it can be said in other words that , You’ll soon have no choice but to let WhatsApp share your data with company parent Facebook if you’d like to keep using the service.

Does it call for data comprise?
Once you accept the privacy policy, information like your phone number, contacts and WhatsApp status, all these data will now be available to Facebook from WhatsApp. However, if you don’t like this condition, you have no other option but to delete your WhatsApp account.
Who will benefit from this move?
Facebook is going to have big profit from this as all these data from WhatsApp will go to Facebook, Facebook has created big data centres to keep information of millions of people and once Facebook shares this data with those companies, it will get massive benefit from them. It is all about business.
“We may use the information we receive from them, and they may use the information we share with them, to help operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services and their offerings, including the Facebook Company Products,” WhatsApp says.
More importantly,its a step taken by facebook. We all know what facebook’s policy is all about .Facebook is a no stranger to accusations of violating users’ privacy, problems that have cost the company billions in fines and fuelled mistrust among users.
